Financial Education and Scholarship Program:
At Hoosier Financial we take the financial education of young people seriously. As school budgets tighten financial education is often one of the first courses to go. Youth today simply do not receive sound financial education. For this reason we take a portion of all fees and allocate them toward the establishment and maintenance of financial education opportunities for high school students. These club activities allow students to actively manage an investment account with real assets. As the assets grow, funds are disbursed in the form of scholarships. This provides hands on real world learning as well as the possibility for financial assistance to graduates who pursue a college education. We feel it's the right thing to do given the state of financial education in our schools. Ask your advisor for more information. |
